Cheyenne County Fair and Rodeo

This celebration lasts for one entire week in July. Activities include nightly attractions, a PRCA rodeo, music concerts, tractor/truck pull and a demolition derby. Week-long attractions include 4-H events, carnival rides and food vendors. July 20-27, 2024

Oktoberfest

Occurs during the first full weekend in October. Festivities include live entertainment, food vendors, cold beer, a parade and more. October 4-6, 2024

Sidney Gold Rush Days

Held during the second weekend in June, this celebration includes musical performances, storytelling, cookouts and historical displays. June 7-9, 2024

Potter Car Bowl

Occurring the last Saturday in June, enjoy a car show, duckpin bowling, food, craft show, pinewood derby, live music, auctions, raffles, rodeo events and fireworks.

High Plains Arts Council

The High Plains Arts Council’s mission statement is “to provide the widest variety of cultural activities by developing, promoting, and supporting the visual, performing, and creative arts for all people within the Highby Plains and surrounding areas” – they work hard to find a well-rounded set of performances for each season.
