Sidney Gold Rush Days


Sidney Gold Rush Days is a family-oriented outdoor festival, held annually on the 2nd weekend of June in Legion Park, Sidney, Nebraska.


This family-friendly festival emphasizes the history of the Sidney to Deadwood Gold Rush Trail in the late 1870s. There are tons of activities for the whole family, taking place from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon and most of them are FREE.


In addition to the family fun, Gold Rush Days features historical portrayals and cultural demonstrations presented by Humanities Nebraska, and craftsmen demonstrating various traditional crafts such as blacksmithing and woodworking.
